Review

“Great Book About Growing Up In The 1960s

Robert Probst does a wonderful job describing his life journey. Growing up in Santa Monica, California going to UC Berkeley and traveling the world before settling in New Zealand. The author was a surfer, tennis player and was interested in understanding other cultures and people.

He goes through his memories, thought processes, people who influenced his life journey. What he was taught to believe about the American dream and what was the reality that impacted his and others of his generation’s lives. Good writing that makes you not want to put the book down but keep reading. Insightful, dynamic and a pleasure.” – Byron A
